Information we collect
We collect organization account information such as organization name, organization type, website, icon, default location, approved staff names, approved staff email addresses, account status, and posting limits.
We collect event information organizations submit, including title, description, venue, address, city, state, ZIP code, date, time, price, category, event link, image, submitter notes, and review status.
Service activity
Organization sign-in uses email PIN codes. We store PIN records, session records, moderation decisions, admin audit logs, security alerts, event post ledger records, and other records needed to operate and protect the service.
Location searches may use ZIP codes, city names, or browser-provided location permission to find nearby events. Browser location is used to select a nearby ZIP code and is not required to use the app.
How we use information
We use this information to manage organization access, send sign-in PINs, show events, review submissions, prevent abuse, enforce posting limits, support account safety, and respond to support requests.
Sharing
Approved public event details may be visible to visitors and may be shared by users. Organization names, icons, websites, and public event information may appear with approved event posts.
Approved staff email addresses, internal admin notes, audit records, PIN records, and private moderation details are not intended for public display.
We may disclose information if required to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or maintain the service.
Account deletion
Organizations can request account deletion by contacting eventnearme.app@gmail.com. Some records may be retained if needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, moderation history, or audit history.
