Community Guidelines

These guidelines explain what kinds of events belong on Southern Utah Events and what may be reviewed, rejected, or removed.

Post accurate public events

Events should have a clear title, useful description, accurate date and time, and a location that attendees can reasonably find.

Southern Utah Events is intended for public or community-facing events from approved cities, schools, organizations, and businesses, not private solicitations or misleading posts.

Do not post unsafe or prohibited content

Do not post events involving scams, illegal activity, violence, weapons misuse, harassment, hate, exploitation, dangerous meetups, or instructions to evade safety rules.

Do not post adult sexual meetups, sexually explicit event content, or private minor-related meetups. These posts may be held for review, rejected, removed, or escalated.

Use authorized organization access

Only approved staff or representatives should submit events for an organization. Do not use another organization's name, email access, logo, or identity without permission.

Respect moderation decisions

Admins may approve, reject, remove, restore, or request updates to posts. If an update is requested, provide clear corrections or context in the event edit form.

Repeated abuse, spam, misleading submissions, or unsafe posts may lead to organization account suspension or deletion.

Reporting problems
